I got the opportunity to volunteer for a grade 7 field trip to the Science Centre. I wondered what it would be like to volunteer for this age. Will it be like it was in Elementary school? No. Not even close. It was a very different kind of volunteering for me. Basically I was just asked to walk around and supervise. I didn't really have to do anything. I did really enjoy watching Abigail and her friends explore.
I will admit that it does make me a little sad as a mother, so see the kids growing up so much. My opportunities for such things are slowly coming to an end. How sad.
